IMAGERY: Dry along FL and into the NW Bahamas, but a small line of showers or squalls is quickly racing ESE thru the N-C Bahamas. Drier air quickly filters in behind this line. The S-C Bahamas (StanielCay-CatIsland) are underneath some cloud cover and likely a few squalls as well. The SE Bahamas are seeing mostly stray squalls, but a batch of showers and squalls is pushing generally Nward into the region from the coast of Haiti.
SYNOPSIS: TODAY: A secondary TROF has pushed thru NW Bahamas this morning, helping to enhance and rebuild NW-NNW wind. The TROF continues to make its way thru the C Bahamas, spreading the NW-NNW wind Eward. The wind may exceed 20k initially during the morning hours along FL and into the NW Bahamas, but wind begins to relax by late morning-midday. Around midday, we see NW<NNW-N wind generally in the low-mid teens for the NW & C Bahamas. The increasingly milder wind spreads into the SE Bahamas early this afternoon. The wind is not very persistent as it veers and by the end of the day we could be seeing fairly mild, mostly N<NNE wind throughout the region.
